Addendum #1 – Ques ons / Answers RFP #26-0116-01

1. Are there speciﬁc bonding requirements for this job?

a. Bid Bond @ 7.5%, Performance @ 5%, Payment @ 100%

2. Are the meters already installed in the ground on se ers?

a. The meters are already installed in the ground.

3. If a current box or lid is in disrepair, is there a set adder for replacements? Addi onally,

who is responsible for providing the new Boxes or Lids?

a. Yes, at comple on we will add all repair units to the total through a change order.

Winning bidder would be responsible.

4. If concrete or asphalt around meter boxes must be removed, should this be handled as

an adder or a change order?

a. If concrete or asphalt is around a meter, removal should be handled by the

installer.

5. For the 2" and 3" installa ons, are 2-bolt ﬂanges used? Are ribbed gaskets required, or

are standard drop-ins acceptable?

a. The 2" and 3" meters do have bolt ﬂanges, and standard drop in gaskets will be

acceptable.

6. Is an address list available, speciﬁcally for loca ons requiring 2" meters and above?

a. Yes, an address list is available for the loca ons requiring 2" meters and above

and can be provided upon request.

7. Does the vendor need to be licensed in the state of Georgia?

a. The vendor is required to be licensed in the State of Georgia.
