CITY OF KILLEEN, TEXAS

The City of Killeen will receive sealed statements of qualifications for 26-08 Schematic Design Services for Bunny Trail Passive Recreation Park & West Killeen Natural Area & Trail electronically through the City’s eProcurement Portal or addressed to the City of Killeen, Attn: Purchasing Division, 802 N. 2nd Street, Building E, 2nd Floor, Killeen, Texas 76541, until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 . Mailed or hand delivered proposals must be sealed and plainly marked with the name and address of the proposer and “RFQ NO. 26-08 Schematic Design Services for Bunny Trail Passive Recreation Park & West Killeen Natural Area & Trail , 1:00 pm , Wednesday, September 17, 2025 ”.

Submittals received after the closing time will be returned unopened.

Vendors may register and submit proposals electronically at https://procurement.opengov.com/login .

No Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held.

RFQ Questions will be accepted on the OpenGov e-bidding site , until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 . Questions will be answered in the form of an addendum and posted on the OpenGov e-bidding site . It is the proposer’s responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all addendums.

The City of Killeen is soliciting for qualified firms and consultant teams for schematic design services for two (2) park sites.

Bunny Trail Passive Recreation Park (33.8 acres), 6213 Newcastle Dr,

West Killeen Natural Area and Trail (25.5 acres), 2502-2512 John Helen Dr.

This RFQ is for schematic design only. Construction documents, permitting, and construction administration are not included a separate solicitation may be issued for later phases.

The City of Killeen is solely responsible for directing the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process. Proposers will be evaluated competitively, and the top-ranked firm will be selected to serve as the City’s schematic design consultant .
