The City of Groton, Department of Utilities, is requesting formal bids for Lawn and Grounds Maintenance. This work involves maintaining grounds for Water and Electric operations, dams, pump stations, tanks, watershed areas, fence lines and Ledyard sites. Sealed bids for the above work will be received at the Project Management Office of the Department of Utilities, 1240 Poquonnock Road, Groton, Connecticut 06340 until 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, on Friday, March 7, 2025 at which place and time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk-through will be held at the Operations Complex - Department of Utilities, 1240 Poquonnock Road, Groton, Connecticut at 9:00am Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Site walk-through expected to take half the day. Inclement-weather day scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 9:00 am.
