1. JBSA Lackland AFB is searching for potential contractors that can provide Chiller Replacement services IAW the Statement of Work (SOW). Lackland is seeking information from interested parties that can provide the requirements below. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.Gov) database to be awarded a DOD contract. The product service code for this is J041 - EQUIPMENT-REFRIGERATION, AIR CONDITIONING, AND AIR CIRCULATING EQUIPMENT and the NAICS for this action is 238220 - PLUMBING, HEATING, AND AIR-CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS (size standard: $19 MILLION).
2. The Department of War is seeking capable sources for a turn-key project to replace a 150-ton chiller and associated chilled water pump at Building 1029, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, and materials to remove and dispose of the existing equipment and install a new, fully operational system. This requirement includes all necessary electrical, piping, and control system modifications to ensure the new chiller is seamlessly integrated with the existing Building Management System (BMS). The project will conclude with comprehensive system testing, calibration, and factory start-up verification. Interested vendors must be able to provide a 5-year parts and 1-year labor warranty and demonstrate significant experience with HVAC projects of similar size and complexity, particularly those performed on military installations.
