Hazard Mitigation Plan - 2028 Update

Project Description: Metro Water regularly updates four plans that influence its capital improvement strategy. The subject of this request for qualifications is the Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP), which assesses and recommends projects and strategies to address external risks on Metro Water assets, both natural (e.g., earthquake, landslide, wildfire) and non-natural (e.g., security, malevolent acts). To maintain eligibility for federal non-emergency funding, the HMP must be updated, approved by FEMA, and adopted by Metro Water every five years. The current HMP was adopted in October 2023.
