Truck Body, Plow, Wing & Hydraulic System Package
Truck Body, Plow, Wing & Hydraulic System Package The City of Laconia Department of Public Works
is requesting proposals for the furnishing and installation of a complete truck-mounted snow and ice
control system, including plow, wing, dump body, and hydraulic components.
Scope of Work
The vendor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to furnish and install a
complete system meeting or exceeding the specifications outlined below.
Minimum Specifications
including but not limited to:
Plow & Wing System
• Reversible heavy-duty polymer trip-edge moldboard (~11')
• Carbide cutting edges
• Full trip hinge
• Twin cylinder power reverse pushframe
• Moldboard shoes and rubber deflector
• Right-hand wing assembly:
o Hydraulic operation
o Carbide blade
o Full trip hydraulic arms
Mounting & Frame
• Custom hitch plow and wing mount with power tilt
• Rear mast assembly with mounting brackets, cylinders, and slides
• Push center approx. 30-1/2"
• Lift group and leveling device
Hydraulics

• Transmission-mounted PTO and pump
• Minimum 40-gallon hydraulic tank
• Complete valve/control system
• In-cab operator controls
• Stainless hydraulic lines where feasible
• Spread sander controls
• Remote handle (plow)
Dump Body
• 10' stainless steel side dump body (Viking Praline PL1011SD or equal)
• AR450 floor
• 30" sides
• 39" tailgate with double-acting air
• Telescopic hoist
• Cab shield (minimum½ height)
• Ladder, tool holders, spinner assembly
• Vermont Chute
Lighting & Electrical
• LED heated plow lights
• LED warning strobes (front, side, rear)
• Wing and spinner lights
• Backup and signal lighting
• On spots
Accessories
• Pintle plate with 20-ton hook and trailer plug
• Electric tarp system with asphalt cover
• Poly fenders with mounting brackets
• mud flaps w/ anti-sails
• Vibrator
• Side boards 10 In channel Painted black
• On-spot tire chains (if equipped)

Delivery Requirements
Delivery shall be made to:
City of Laconia Department of Public Works

Laconia, NH 03246
Vendor must state the earliest available delivery and installation date after award. The City
prefers delivery as soon as possible, with equipment fully installed and ready for service
Warranty Requirements
• Minimum 1-year parts and labor warranty on installed equipment
• Manufacturer warranties on all major components
• Vendor must outline service/response process
Questions and Addenda
All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing via email no later than 4:00 PM on
June 3, 2026, to kbullerwell@laconianh.gov.
Responses to questions and any resulting addenda will be posted on the City of Laconia website
at https://www.laconianh.gov/Bids.aspx no later than June 5, 2026.
It is the responsibility of all proposers to check the website for issued addenda prior to
submission.
Submissions
Interested firms are encouraged to submit two (2) proposals in a sealed envelope to the City of
Laconia Purchasing Department, 45 Beacon Street East, Laconia, NH 03246 by 2:30pm on
Thursday 06/11/2026 to be considered. Submissions must be labeled "RFP No. 26-06-l0P Truck
Body, Plow, Wing & Hydraulic System Package" Postmarks and other timestamps will not be
accepted in lieu of actual delivery to be considered. Emailed submissions will not be accepted.
The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part
thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal considered to be in
the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient
grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this Request for
Proposals at any time for any reason.
