RFP - State and Federal Legislative and Funding Advocacy Services

The City of Paso Robles is seeking an experienced professional to provide services in the following areas:

1) Legislative Consultation

2) Legislative Advocacy

3) Funding Advocacy

The City seeks to develop a new legislative platform prior to the start of the 2025 state legislative session. In tandem with this objective, the City is seeking legislative consulting and advocacy services in an effort to maintain and increase presence and influence on state and federal issues.

For consultation and advocacy services, expertise is sought in sound knowledge of public policy, clear understanding of the legislative process, solid political networks, knowledge of key agency programs and staff, familiarity with current federal issues, and effective communication skills. There must be demonstrated experience in bipartisan relationships with a network of access to legislators, administrative and relevant agency staff, and representatives at the state and federal levels.
