Irrigation Systems – Maintenance and Repair Services (SBE Set-Aside)

Project Description: The Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department (PRD) seeks a qualified and certified Contractor with experience tracking and marking controls, vacuum breakers, and clock in GPS (Global Positioning System) for capture using a device with sub-meter accuracy for ongoing and as-needed large scale comprehensive commercial irrigation maintenance and repair services on over 170 parks and 250 sports fields with high-quality Bermudagrass. The services provided will ensure that all County parks and fields are properly irrigated, increasing aesthetic appearance and durability. Irrigation repairs shall include but not be limited to replacing missing or damaged heads, valves, wires, and micro-irrigation emitters; troubleshooting hydraulic, control, and computer/software system issues, retrofitting irrigation, underground boring, repairing leaking or broken pipes and tubing; adding or relocating heads in water-deficient areas; repairing updating and replacing computer controlled irrigation control clocks; replacing or rebuilding valves; and locating and repairing cut wires. The estimated project budget is $239,333.50.
