Standard-Old Tusculum Water Improvements (PE23101)

Sealed bids for construction of Standard-Old Tusculum Water Improvements Project will be received until Dec. 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the City of Springfield at 130 South Laurel Street, Springfield, GA 31329 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of the following: Water improvements including, but not limited to approximately 6,190 LF of 12¿ C900 PVC water main using the open cut installation method, 300 LF of 12¿ fusible PVC directional bore, fire hydrants, valves, elbows, connecting to existing system, removing and replacing pavement, silt fence, grassing, & miscellaneous work. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred fifty (150) calendar days. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a ¿Utility Contractor¿ and must also employ a ¿Utility Manager¿ certification holder who will have oversight of all the work. See Instruction to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the City of Springfield. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities. Shall comply with E-Verify regulations.
