Underground Electrical Replacement and Directional Bore Installation
The supplier shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to replace the underground electrical service between Pedestal 20 and the distribution panel, a distance of approximately 150 feet. This electrical line is supplied by a 150-amp breaker.
This includes locating all utilities within the designated work area, in coordination with the Ohio Utilities Protection Service (OUPS).
The contractor shall perform a directional bore beneath the roadway to install a new underground conduit pathway between the distribution panel and Pedestal 20. This will involve excavation of bore pits at both connection points, integration of the new conduit with the existing system, and installation of new electrical conductors through the completed duct.
All required electrical connections shall be made, and testing shall be performed to ensure proper functionality and compliance with applicable codes. Upon completion, all bore pits are to be backfilled with the original excavated material. Final site restoration, including seeding and straw, is to be included in this scope of work.
