Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online by South Coatesville Borough via PennBid until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on August 22, 2025, at which time they will be opened online and publicly posted via PennBid for:
SOUTH COATESVILLE BOROUGH
WOODWARD ROAD REPAIRS
The project consists of the reconstruction of Woodward Road at two locations as shown on the plans. The project includes establishing erosion and sedimentation control measures, site preparation, excavation and / or milling of the existing road surfaces, preparation of subgrade, placement and compaction of subbase, base and paving courses. Work includes installing 180 linear feet of guiderail, riprap reinforcement of the culvert headwalls, and compacted stone fill as shown on the plans.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of South Coatesville Borough or a Bid Bond in favor of South Coatesville Borough in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project.
A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the date, time and location indicated in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders provided on PennBid.
No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.
South Coatesville Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
