Project Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received online by Whitpain Township via the PennBid Program (www.pennbid.net) for the 2025 WISSAHICKON PARK - PLUMBING, until March 12, 2025 @ 10:00 AM at which time they will be electronically opened.
The Bids will be received for the following Contract: 2025 WISSAHICKON PARK – PLUMBING
The contract involves the following:
Furnish and Install a Precast Water Meter Pit
Furnish and Install Proposed Water Service Line and Appurtenances
Furnish and Install Proposed Sanitary Sewer Lateral and Appurtenances
The following contract items are an Add. Alternate to the base bid:
No Add Alternates are Included
All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, paragraph 14- Bid Submission. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Whitpain Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will not be required. Bidders may contact Tom Farzetta, Public Works Director via email @ tfarzetta@whitpaintownship.org if they wish to arrange a date and time to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a bid.
Whitpain Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
