The Cities of Brewer, Bangor, Maine are requesting bids for the supply and delivery of approximately 2200, and 8000 tons respectively, of sodium chloride (rock salt) for the 2026/ 2027 winter season. Interested bidders shall submit bids to the City of Brewer, in a sealed envelope clearly marked Brewer/Bangor_FY2026 Salt Bid.
Bid Deadline: Thursday, September 24, 2026 @ 2:00pm.
Mail or hand deliver to: Brewer Public Works, 221 Green Point Road, Brewer, Maine 04412. The Cities of Brewer/Bangor, Maine reserves the sole right to reject any and all, in part or in whole any quotes, bids or proposals, with or without reason.
