Bid Description:
The Project includes the following Work:
Procurement and installation of three 8-in gate valves and associated ductile iron fittings and appurtenances, and connection to existing 6-in cast iron main at the intersection of Franklin Street and George Street. Work will require shutdown of water service, and therefore, the installation shall be completed in one day. Winooski DPW will provide a supporting role in the Work. Refer to Bidding Documents for full description of Work.

The Project has a Substantial Completion deadline of Tuesday, August 26, 2025, and a Final Completion deadline of Friday, August 29, 2025.

Information and Advertisement for Bids for the Project can be found at the designated website, https://www.winooskivt.gov/bids.aspx, which will be updated periodically with addenda.

Prospective Bidders shall contact the Engineer, Ryan Lambert, via email (rlambert@winooskivt.gov), with inquiries and requests for Bidding Documents, prior to the Inquiry Deadline of Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 1:00 pm local time. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the Engineer. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Engineer.

Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in accordance with the Bidding Documents. Prospective Bidders shall note that Performance and Payment bonds are required under the contract. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
