Title of Event: Ground Based Radar Digitization – On-Site Site Visit Industry Day

Where: Cape Cod Space Force Station, 71 Pave Paws Rd, Bourne, MA 02542
Background. The U.S. Space Force maintains several Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWRs) and the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS). These radars are capable of detecting ballistic missile attacks and conducting general space surveillance and satellite tracking. They are located across both the United States and United States European Command.
The GBR modernization effort supports the National Defense Strategy by continuing missile warning (MW), missile defense (MD), missile tracking (MT), and improving space domain awareness (SDA) capabilities. The program will:
Purpose. United States Space Force (USSF) is seeking information from industry regarding the modernization of Ground Based Radars (GBR) under GBRD. This effort aims to digitize legacy radar systems to enhance battlespace situational awareness, reduce sustainment costs, and address obsolescence issues.
