To: All Offerors Who Submitted Proposals in Response to the Above-referenced RFP
Subject: Amendment 0008, Cancellation of Solicitation No. W912BV-21-R-0024
Please find post-closing (i.e., after the proposal due date) Amendment 0008 enclosed. The purpose of this amendment is to formally notify you of the cancellation of Solicitation No. W912BV-21-R-0024 for the $50M 8(a) MEGA Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC).
This decision was made after careful consideration and is based on circumstances that have arisen since the solicitation was originally issued.
The primary reasons for this cancellation are as follows:
In accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 15, the Government has the right to cancel a solicitation when it is in the public interest to do so. Given that proceedings would not ensure fair and equitable competition that reflects our current needs, we have determined that canceling the solicitation is the most prudent course of action. All proposals received in response to this solicitation will be handled in accordance with federal regulations.
We understand that you have invested significant time and resources in preparing your proposals, and we sincerely appreciate your efforts. We anticipate a new requirement in the future, and we encourage you to monitor SAM.gov for updates.
We thank you for your interest in this procurement.
