LOCATION: ALGONAC The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Parks & Recreation Division, Stewardship Unit is requesting bids for control of the following invasive shrubs and trees. Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia), glossy buckthorn (Frangula alnus), common buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica), autumn olive (Elaeagnus umbellata), non-native honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.), bittersweet (Celastrus orbiculata),and other invasive plants will be targeted in remnants of native marsh, prairie, prairie fen, oak barrens, and other natural communities at eight (8) state park and recreation area facilities.
