Old Academy Fire Alarm Project

The City of Framingham (‘City), acting through the Mayor, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to complete the scope of work contained herein, including but is not limited to: Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting to the Old Academy Building.

Bid documents can be obtained electronically through the City of Framingham’s Bidnet Direct portal on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 after 10:00 AM:

Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Bidnet Direct portal system. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.

Bids shall be submitted through Bidnet Direct and are due on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 by 10:00 AM.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Danforth Museum Parking Lot, 14 Vernon Street, Framingham, Massachusetts.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities and technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
