Arm Brook Mid Interceptor Cleaning and Inspection Project

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “City of Westfield, Arm Brook Mid Interceptor Cleaning and Inspection Project, Bid 27-007” will be received by the City of Westfield at the 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 29, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “City of Westfield, Arm Brook Mid Interceptor Cleaning and Inspection Project.”

The work consists of cleaning and CCTV inspection of the twin 14-inch diameter Arm Brook mid Siphon. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended.

Bid Documents will be available through a web-portal; all bidders must contact the Purchasing Department for access at 413-572-6254;

A bid deposit of 5% shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.

A pre-Bid conference will be held at City Hall Room 315 September 17, 2026, at 10:00 am all are strongly encouraged to attend.
