Bid Packet for Infiltration Basin Cleaning
Sealed proposals will be received by the CITY OF FERNLEY UTILITIES DEPARTMENT for the Infiltration Basin Cleaning Services at the Water Treatment Plant, RFP No. 2026.001, at the office of the City of Fernley, 595 Silver Lace Blvd, Fernley, NV, until Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, no later than 2:00 PM. Proposals will not be accepted after this time.
The Scope of Work consists of:
Removing approximately two feet of accumulated sediment and debris, including vegetation, from the infiltration basin located at the City’s Water Treatment Plant. The contractor shall handle, transport, and dispose of material in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Restoration of the basin and grading of the adjacent area are required.
Interested contractors must provide company background, proposed cleaning methods and equipment, schedule, lump sum or unit cost proposal, and references from at least two similar projects. Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, methodology, cost, and availability.
Proposals shall also include any miscellaneous charges such as minimal hourly travel charges, and/or mobilization/demobilization charges. The bids must include individual costs per specific item. Proposals must be submitted on the City of Fernley Bid Table.
No proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed for this type of work in accordance with the applicable Nevada Revised Statues. A Statement of Qualifications shall be included with the bid packages. No proposal will be accepted from a Material Supplier who is not able to provide all the materials listed within the bid package.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
