Summary
This RFP is issued by OCC to solicit proposals from qualified Independent Contractors for technical assistance in OCC’s consumer advocacy. This assistance to OCC is to evaluate the reasonableness of proposed or adopted electric reliability standards for consumers, assess electric utility annual reliability performance for consumers, analyze the efficacy of vegetation management practices and other means of outage prevention, assess the impact of proposed or implemented changes in inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement programs proposed by electric utilities, and recommend consumer remedies for utility non-compliance with standards and best practices.
