INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Canton (Town), Department of Public Works (DPW), invites sealed proposal from qualified consultants to conduct a condition assessment and prepare a Preservation Program for 10 — 11-acre Colonial-era, Melancholy-era (Churchyard), Meetinghouse, Rural Cemetery Sections of the Canton Corner Cemetery.
Sealed proposals for Town Project No. 25-010M, “Canton Corner Cemetery Condition Assessment and Preservation Master Plan”, shall be submitted by noon Friday August 29, 2025 to the Town of Canton Superintendent of Public Works, 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Proposals must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes, one marked “Technical Proposal” the other marked “Price Proposal”. Price Proposals shall NOT be submitted with Technical Proposal. Any Technical Proposal containing any part of a Price Proposal shall be deemed non-responsive.

” along with your company name on the front of the envelope.
2.) In a separate envelope, marked “Price Proposal” please submit one completed original, and one (1) copy of the price form found herein and attachment B
Fax proposals shall not be accepted.
Proposals will not be opened publicly, but a record of consultants submitting proposals will be recorded publicly. Proposal contents will be kept confidential and not disclosed until after the evaluation and award.
Pre-Proposal meeting to be held at First Parish Unitarian Church at 1508 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021 on August 20th at 10 am.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
