YOUTH-FOCUSED PROGRAMMING UNDER

THE SHANNON COMMUNITY SAFETY INITIATIVE (CSI)

The City of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Police Department (LPD) is committed to enhancing public safety and providing compassionate, comprehensive support to community members, particularly youth who are involved in or at risk of gang activity. As part of this commitment, LPD is administering funds from the Shannon Community Safety Initiative (CSI) and is now seeking proposals from qualified organizations both nonprofit and for profit to partner in delivering impactful, youth-focused programs.

The goal of this initiative is to prevent and reduce youth violence and gang involvement through strategic programming, including intervention, prevention, enforcement, and reentry services.

Requests for Proposal Specifications will be available to download on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at www.cityoflawrence.com/bids.

Sealed proposals are due by 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025 , at:
