BID NO. 25.26.1160
SECURITY SERVICES – MANNED (UNARMED) REBID
This addendum modifies the original Bid document issued on March 26, 2026, and Addendum No. 1 dated April 14, 2026, as described below.
Please acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the designated space on the PROPOSAL FORM /SIGNATURE PAGE.
1. Current company and rate?
ANSWER: The current incumbent is Allied Universal Security Services. Please submit a PRA request to the San
Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Intergovernmental Relations Department to obtain a copy of the
current rates.
2. Is there a page limit for the proposal?
ANSWER: Fifteen pages. However, additional materials and required documents may be submitted as
appendices to the proposal and will not be counted toward the 15-page limit.
3. What is the estimated total number of annual hours for this contract?
ANSWER: The estimated total hours for all sites combined is approximately 13,000 per year, though this may vary
depending on the specific needs of each individual site.
4. What is the reason for the rebid?
ANSWER: After reviewing all proposals received for the original RFP issued in February 2026, it was determined that
all submissions were nonresponsive due to missing required documentation, failure to acknowledge the addendum,
or failure to submit required documents with original handwritten blue-ink signatures.
5. Are there any additional services that may be needed that are not listed in the RFP? For instance, the
need for additional sites, seasonal required security, etc.
ANSWER: Services shall include regularly scheduled daily coverage, on-call support, and occasional special event
assignments. Additional sites may be added to this contract, as needed, through a mutually agreed-upon and fully
executed amendment between the SUPERINTENDENT and the VENDOR.
6. Are vehicles required for these sites? Would a golf cart be sufficient?
ANSWER: No vehicles are required to patrol the sites.

to another location, and will security services need to be increased at that site?
ANSWER: Yes, as stated in the SPECIFICATIONS section, Vision Community School will permanently close in August
2026. Additional security will not be needed at relocated sites.
