ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
General Notice—
City of Sevierville, Tennessee (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Apple Barn Pump Station and Forcemain Improvements

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Sevierville, Tennessee,
located at 120 Gary Wade Blvd, Sevierville, Tennessee 37862, until May 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM, local
time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids must be submitted on the complete Project and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed
to the City of Sevierville, 120 Gary Wade Blvd, Sevierville, Tennessee 37862 or P.O. Box 5500,
Sevierville, TN 37864-5500. Outside of the envelope must be marked “Bid for Apple Barn Pump
Station and Forcemain Improvements”. Envelope must also bear on the outside, the name of the
Bidder, Bidder’s address, and Bidder’s license number with expiration date (please refer to Section
00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders). All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the
bound document or as provided by Addendum prior to Bid.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools,
equipment, and incidentals and performing all Work required to construct complete, in place, and ready to
operate the following:
1. Replace existing pump station with new duplex submersible arrangement with two (2)
50 HP pumps.
2. Approximately 1,625 LF of 6-inch PVC force main sewer.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be Unit Prices basis as indicated in the Bid
Form. The Successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond. The Owner
reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
The Project has an expected duration of two hundred seventy (270) days to substantial completion.

Documents may be downloaded or hard copy shipped from the website for a purchase price established

Prospective Bidders must register and purchase Bidding Documents through the designated website in
order to be considered an official Plan Holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source
other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be
updated periodically with Addenda, list of registered Plan Holders, reports, and other information
relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, Addenda, and other Bidding
Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be
responsible for Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the
designated website.
The Owner hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any Contract entered into
pursuant to this advertisement will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this
invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in
consideration for an Award.
No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The Successful Bidder shall comply with the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations for
construction promulgated under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (PL91-596) and under
Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (PL91-54), or latest revisions.
Pre-Bid Conference
A Pre-Bid Conference for the Project will not be held.

refer to Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
