| Description: | The NC Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) intends to initiate an Evaluation & Confidence Testing (E&CT) contract with a Detention Electronics Company (DEC) for the evaluation and testing of all Electronic Security & Control Systems currently installed in DJJ facilities. Each system listed in the contract scope is to be thoroughly tested for proper operation and a final report of all testing shall be provided to the DJJ contract administrator (CA). The purpose of this E&CT is to establish the overall operational status of DJJ electronic security and control systems. This will be Phase 1 of a potential 2-Phase contract. After successful completion of the E&CT Contract Phase 1, the NCDPS DJJ division may exercise an option to initiate Phase 2 of the contract. Phase 2 will be a Service & Preventive Maintenance contract addendum. |

Description
