Negotiated Request for Proposal
The sidewalk maintenance program was instituted to improve the condition of surfaces on sidewalks throughout the city network. To ensure public safety and reduce the possibility of claims against the City of Lethbridge.
Scope
To construct concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, driveway crossings, mobility ramps and utility piece repairs at various locations throughout the City of Lethbridge. To provide sidewalk grinding, mud-jacking and paving stone maintenance.
Please note the following in regards to item # 22 (High/Early Fibre Concrete) on Schedule 1 – Pricing – COL-25-29:
• To be consistent with Section 05220 of the City of Lethbridge Specifications
• Minimum 25 MPA for 48 hour compressive strength
• BASF MasterFiber (or equivalent) @ 3kg/m ³
• Colour to be Beige as per (included) concrete sidewalk detail
• “Beige” additive to be BN-1701R Taupe (1 Bag), as manufactured
