IFB - Schlage Security Locks with Installation Services

Project Description: The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to obtain competitive bids for a vendor to furnish and deliver classroom security locks to the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD), Salt Lake City, Utah per the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein. This solicitation includes furnishing, delivering, and fully installing the locks at the locations specified. Locations include Highland High, East High, West High, Horizonte Training School, SLCSE School, Parkview Elementary, and Uintah Elementary.
The items required are listed within Attachment C - Price Schedule. For standardization purposes, the locks must be Schlage models as specified herein. No other manufacturers are acceptable for this application. Total price per line item is to be entered in the item section.
An S220 or B100 contractor license is required to perform the work.
It is anticipated this IFB will result in a single contract award to the vendor who provides the best lump sum price for all items, however the district reserves the right to award by line item.
All questions must be submitted in writing on Bonfire/U3P or asked at the pre-bid site visit. Questions and answers from the site visit will be posted on Bonfire/U3P. Questions posted on Bonfire/U3P will be answered on Bonfire/U3P. Do not ask questions in any other format. Only answers issued through the Bonfire/U3P system or issued via an authorized and properly issued addendum shall be the official position of the SLCSD.
Any modification to this procurement effort shall be made by addendum issued by the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD). Only authorized and properly issued addenda is considered the official position of the SLCSD.
By submitting a Bid, the Bidder acknowledges that he/she has examined, read and familiarized him/herself with the requirements of the bid documents and the conditions governing the work.
NOTE: The SLCSD prefers bids to be submitted electronically on Bonfire/U3P. Before submitting your bid, review all attached documents and complete all required information. Upload with your bid any other required documents, (i.e. bid bond, contractor license, etc.).
NOTE: Any discrepancies between documents obtained from sources outside Bonfire/U3P not issued by the SLCSD will be found in favor of the documents contained in Bonfire/U3P.
When submitting bids electronically through Bonfire/U3P, you must allow sufficient time to complete the online forms and upload any documents. The solicitation will end precisely at the closing date and time specified in the solicitation. If you are in the middle of uploading your documents at the closing time, the system will stop the process and your proposal will not be received by the system.
Electronic bids may require uploading of electronic attachments. Bonfire/U3P's site will accept a wide variety of document types as attachments. However, the submission of documents containing embedded documents (zip files), mov, wmp, and mp3 files are prohibited. All documents should be attached as separate files. DO NOT submit faxed or emailed bids. Only bids submitted electronically on Bonfire/U3P will be accepted.
