Provide all labor and materials for hydrostatic testing of the new piping systems.
The testing should be for 225 psi for 2-hours, or per NFPA standards for
hydrostatic testing of fire protection systems.
Provide all materials and labor necessary for the furnishing, and installation,
testing, and commissioning of a new fire pump system and supporting systems,
electrical and mechanical services, and other work as required for a complete code
compliant and operable system, hereafter referred to as the Work (or System).
Provide all materials and labor necessary for the complete installation of the fire
pump and associated scope of work for a system that meets all manufacturer
requirements, state laws and local ordinances, and meets the requirements of
Lowell Housing Authority. It is the contractors responsibility to make themselves
familiar with all of the AHJ and manufacturers requirements.
The Contractor shall provide a turn-key Project, which shall include the fire
pump, fittings, piping, valves, sensors, all electrical and other subcontractors, and
including all permits, fees, submittals, installation, acceptance testing and final
approvals. The Prime Contractor shall assign a Project Manager and job-site
Superintendent for the duration of the Project. The Superintendent shall be full
time and on site at all times while work is being performed by his/her own
employees (employees), or any subcontractor employees. This requirement
shall also apply to punchlist work. The Superintendent shall not be replaced, or
substituted including at the time of punchlist work without written consent of the
Owner.
