Place of Performance:
NAVFAC Northwest is seeking to procure repair services for a Naval Base Kitsap PIERCE fire truck under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). The estimated value of the contract is $36,224.32.
This acquisition is being conducted under Other Than Full and Open Competition, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for Sole Source acquisitions under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), as only Hughes Fire Equipment possesses the necessary qualifications to provide the required services.
The required service is available solely from Hughes Fire Equipment due to Exclusive Licensing Agreements essential for meeting the requirements of this acquisition. In addition, the proximity of other repair shops or service providers near our facility does not meet the specific technical requirements or logistical needs for this repair.
