This announcement closes 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, April 10, 2025. The Government is seeking industry input from all interested sources at this time. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541330, Engineering Services, with a corresponding size standard of $25.5. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM); registration can be completed at www.SAM.gov. The Government plans to consider all information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
The requirement is to provide A comprehensive visual evaluation and inspection of 26 flood barriers at Langley Air Force Base (AFB) will be conducted. The inspection will assess the condition of the barriers and identify any necessary corrective actions to maintain operational readiness. A detailed inspection report will be provided, outlining findings and recommending corrective measures for any deficiencies noted. The report will include recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement where applicable, and outline necessary actions to ensure continued functionality and effectiveness of the flood barriers in protecting critical infrastructure. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA480025Q0012 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought.
The RFQ release date is on or about 15 April 2025. This is an estimated posting timeframe, and it is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor SAM for all subsequent postings. A draft Performance Work Statement is posted in conjunction with this notice to provide the size, scope, and complexity of this requirement.
This is not a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), and no contract will result from this notice, nor does it commit the Government to any acquisition for these services. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package (no more than 5 pages total) outlining your company’s key business abilities relevant to the performance of this requirement.
