Twin Atria Building Mailroom Services

The Government of Alberta (GoA) is seeking Mailroom Services for the Twin Atria Building located at 4999 – 98 Avenue. The services include sorting incoming mail, bundling mail, tracing, tracking and assisting users where required.

The physical site is located on the main floor of the Twin Atria building 4999 – 98 Avenue, in Edmonton, Alberta. The current space allocation is approximately 154 m2 (1,660 square feet) and including 2 parking stalls.

Additional services required for the Twin Atria Building:

-        Preparing Interdepartmental Materials for Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction or Contractor pickup
-        Signing for internally registered Interdepartmental Materials, and all internal and external signature required material, and maintaining a tracking register;
-        Tracing Interdepartmental Materials when requested;
-        Managing outgoing courier shipments as required;
-        Responsible for the operation of the loading dock, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining the integrity and security of the area.

The main objective of the Services is to provide consistent sorting, pickup and delivery of Interdepartmental Materials in a professional manner at all MLS satellite mailrooms including the Twin Atria Building.

The Province, which is a ministry within the GoA, provides various financial, human resource, information technology, administrative and operational support to other ministries of the GoA, and delivers some programs and services directly to Alberta consumers, residents and other groups. As a business unit of the Province, Mail and Logistics Services (MLS) provides the following services:

-        Envelope and parcel delivery;
-        Building mailrooms;
-        Mail metering;
-        Envelope insertion;
-        Transportation of goods in armoured vehicles; and
-        Provision of transportation services to be used by other ministries
