For the site visit to be held on 12 August, we will meet at the visitors center and i will escort everyone over to the Contracting Office - B423 on Edward H White Street. We will proceed from the contracting office to view certain spots for the water lines. Please arrive early enough for everyone to get badged in prior to the 9oclock start. The office opens at 7:30AM, 840 Falcon Avenue B720.

This is a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract for Space Launch Delta 45, Patrick SFB, FL.

Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government reserves the right to cancel this invitation for bid, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this invitation for bid, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

The Magnitude of Construction for this project, in accordance with FAR 36.204, is between $5,000,000, and $10,000,000.

The NAICS code is 237110- Highway, Repair or Alteration of Water Supply, and the size standard is $45.0 M.

The period of performance for the project is 200 calendar days after notice to proceed.

THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING ISSUED AS AN 8(a) SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE FOR ALL ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. OFFERORS NOT MEETING THIS CRITERIA WILL BE DEEMED NONRESPONSIVE AND INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
