Florida Keys Electric Cooperative (FKEC) operates a 138 kv radial transmission line #5 from Tavernier to Islamorada Substations. FKEC will be reframing and replacing the insulators on these 11 miles of transmission line. The combination of harsh environmental conditions and weather (including hurricanes) has degraded existing in-service materials. Please see Bid Package for complete details.
