The West Virginia Department of Economic Development (hereinafter the "Department") hereby invites proposals, pursuant to the authority granted by W. Va. Code 5A-3-10b, to collaborate with the West Virginia Office of Energy (hereinafter the "Agency") in crafting and executing a visionary workforce development initiative. This initiative seeks to train and certify energy efficiency contractors, empowering them to meet the surging demands of programs under the Inflation Reduction Act and addressing the states overall growing need for skilled professionals in energy efficiency. Through this partnership, WVOE aspires to amplify its outreach and marketing strategies, enhance brand awareness, and solidify its value proposition. We aim to build a dynamic, sustainable workforce, advancing West Virginia's leadership in energy efficiency and fostering prosperity for its communities.
