The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland are soliciting bids for the project:

2025 CUSTODIAL SERVICES
CITY PROJECT NO. 2025-05-MISC

Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland’s online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 5/7/2025.  All Bids will be virtually released at 2:00 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made.

Project Description:

The City of Cumberland (hereafter referred to as the “City”) is soliciting proposals from established and qualified vendors for custodial services at the locations of City Hall, Public Safety Building, and the Municipal Service Center. The selected contractor shall be responsible for providing supervision, labor, equipment, and materials required to maintain all locations in a clean, sanitary, attractive, resource efficient interior work environment.

A "Mandatory PREBID SESSION” for the purpose of discussing contract specifications, obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work, and conducting a walk-through visitation of the buildings will occur at 10:00 a.m. on 4/23/25 at the Council Chambers of City Hall (57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD 21502).

The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
