Campus Steam & Condensate Infrastruture Improvements: Phase 1

Balfour Beatty, Construction Manager, will accept sealed bids from prequalified bidders for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment for UNCG Steam and Condensate Improvements Pkg A. We will be accepting bids for the BP-33A Site Utilities. Bids will be accepted from pre-qualified 1st tier subcontractors only. This project includes site grading, site demo of existing utilities, install of new steam and condensate trench and piping, minor site drainage, minor site electrical, minor hardscapes and landscaping. Sealed bids will be received by hand and publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 AM EST on April 28, 2026 in the Gray House Conference Room located at 105 Gray Dr, Greensboro, NC on the campus. A virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. The pre-bid is not mandatory, but attendance is highly encouraged. A site walk will follow the pre-bid conference. A link to the virtual pre bid will be provided. HUB firms are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid even if your firm is not looking to Bid as first tier subcontractor. Other Firms will be present and may be looking for lower tier subcontractors to increase their firm's participation. All interested parties are advised that the pre-qualified bidders list will be finalized and made available via the issuance of a project addendum no less than 7 days prior to bid.
