Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PdM SPE) is hosting an Industry Day to brief industrial partners on a potential upcoming requirement for the Integrated Head Protection System Generation III (IHPS GEN III). This event is open to all interested businesses, prime contractors, and innovators within the head protection, hearing protection, and tactical communications arenas. The purpose of the engagement is to provide industry partners with insight into preliminary operational requirements, performance parameters, and program timelines, while outlining Government expectations regarding human factors integration, weight reduction, ballistic performance, and modularity.
The event will be held on the afternoon of October 14, 2026, from 1300-1500, in the PM Soldier Survivability Conference Room, Bldg 325, Fort Belvoir, VA. Due to venue capacity constraints, in-person attendance is strictly limited to two (2) representatives per industrial partner, though a Microsoft Teams link can be provided for virtual participants. The session will feature a formal presentation followed by a limited live Q&A session for clarifying questions.
Interested organizations must register with the Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) no later than October 9, 2026, by submitting the following required details—company name, CAGE code, attendee full names, titles, email addresses, and attendance format (in person or virtual)—to Contract Specialist, Marianne Velez at marianne.e.velez.civ@army.mil and Contracting Officer, Theresa Quick at theresa.s.quick.civ@army.mil by the specified RSVP deadline.
Industry partners are strongly encouraged to submit formal written questions by the registration due date to Marianne Velez at marianne.e.velez.civ@army.mil and Theresa Quick at theresa.s.quick.civ@army.mil for comprehensive review.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.
