Maintenance Shop at Rosebud, SD

This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for the upcoming Solicitation 75H701-25-R-00031 Maintenance Shop at Rosebud, SD a construction project prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36. These construction services are in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS). The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 1 March 2025 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposals will be posted on https://sam.gov under Contract Opportunities. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Construction Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents. This project will be advertised as a 100% Small Business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The associated size standard for this procurement is $45 million.

SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this project is to construct a maintenance shop for the Rosebud Hospital, located in Rosebud, South Dakota. The project defined within the Scope of Work is the Contractor shall provide all necessary design and construction to build a new maintenance shop for the Rosebud Hospital, which will provide the staff the ability to store, repair and prep equipment in a secure and conditioned space. The maintenance shop will be in a fenced-in area located adjacent to the Rosebud Hospital and will require some site preparation work before install a 66’ x 100’ metal post frame building.

LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed at the site located adjacent to the Rosebud Hospital, 400 Soldier Creek Dr., Rosebud, SD 57570.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contract Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from date of notice of proceed.

CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(f).

SITE VISIT: Details regarding the Site Visit will be included in the solicitation. (Tentatively scheduled for March 18, 2025)

CONTRACT TYPE: The Indian Health Service intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in support of this requirement. This solicitation will be procured as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 36 procedures with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.
