RE: ADDENDUM #4, RFP NO. 20260664, DESIGN - HARBORVIEW ROAD LIFT STATIONS, GRAVITY
SEWERS AND FOR2CE MAINS
Firms are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made as part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following are issued to revise/clarify the proposal and contract documents, and these items shall have the same force and
effect as the original proposal and contract documents. Proposals to be submitted on the above-specified date at Purchasing
shall conform to the revisions and clarifications as listed herein.
ITEM # 1 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1: Addendum No. 3, Question 3, clarifies that the 24-month schedule is for design, permitting, and
preparation of the bid package for the Northshore Terrace lift station. Please confirm the County's intended
overall project schedule as follows:
1. The 270-calendar-day milestone, measured from Notice to Proceed, includes completion of design, County
approvals, permitting, and bid-ready documents for the Pine Court and Date Street lift stations and their
associated gravity sewers and force mains.
2. The 24-month milestone, also measured from Notice to Proceed, includes completion of design, County
approvals, permitting, and bid-ready documents for the Northshore Terrace lift station and all remaining
project components not included in the initial 270-day package.
3. Construction completion is not required within either the 270-calendar-day or 24-month milestone.
A1: The understanding is correct.
Q2: RP-20 requires the consultant to coordinate with the gravity sewer and force main being installed as part
of the Harborview Road widening project, and RP-21 states that those facilities will connect to the lift
stations, gravity sewers, and force mains designed under this RFP. Please confirm that the gravity sewer and
force main located within the Harborview Road widening limits are being designed under the separate
Harborview Road project and are not part of the design scope of RFP No. 20260664, except for coordination
and required connection/interface design. If any portions of the gravity sewer or force main within
Harborview Road are to be designed under this RFP, please identify the limits of that work.
A2: RP-20 and RP-21 are clear on what the responsibility is of the selected firm. Coordination of the connection to
the gravity sewer and force main being designed as part of the Harborview Road widening project may require design
adjustments within the limits of the future Harborview Road right-of-way.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original proposal documents of RFP
No. 20260664. Firms are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their proposal forms.
