AMENDMENT 1: The purpose of this amendment is to:



1. Extend the closing date of the combined synopsis/solicitation from 2 December 2024 to 13 December 2024;



2. Answer industry questions.





Industry questions:



Q1. The CDRLs call out a First Article Acceptance Test Report (FAAT). The drawings are only for machined parts, not a full FBG Assembly. Will a full FBG Assembly need to be assembled with other GFM?



a. The individual machined piece part will not need to be assembled with other GFM.



Q2. If there is a FAAT Report, is there a Test Procedure that will be provided?



a. For FAAT qualification of the individual piece part, the vendor shall provide a full Coordinate-Measuring Machine (CMM) data, Material Conformance Certification in accordance with Note 5 of each drawing.



The CMM data along with the Material Conformance Certification will give the Government the necessary technical information to qualify the machined part would meet the FAAT qualifications when assembled at the higher-level assembly.

AMENDMENT 2: The purpose of this amendment is to answer industry questions.



Q1. Does NAVSEA have models for all Part Nos. within the RFQ?



a. Yes, NAVSEA has models for all part numbers within the RFQ.



Q2. Do vendors for Special Processes have to been NADCAP certified? (ie, Nickel-plating, etc.)



a. Negative.

AMENDMENT 3: The purpose of this amendment is to answer industry questions and extend the closing date of the combined synopsis/solicitation from 13 December 2024 to 27 December 2024;



Q1. The latest drawing calls out Rev C on page 1 and Rev B on page 2?



a. This is a typographical error and the document should read "Rev C" on both pages. This error is non-impactful. All offerors will be or have been provided the same documentation which will enable quote provision.



Q2. Will models be made available prior to award?



a. Negative, models are not required in order to furnish a quote, but will be made available post-award.

AMENDMENT 4: The purpose of this amendment is to update the required quantities and extend the closing date of the combined synopsis/solicitation from 27 December 2024 to 3 January 2025. See "N6660425Q0101_Updated Quantities Amendment 4" document.

AMENDMENT 5: The purpose of this amendment is to:



1. Extend the closing date of the combined synopsis/solicitation to 19 March 2025;



2. Update parts, quantities, and LPTA criteria.

AMENDMENT 6: The purpose of this amendment is to:



1. Extend the closing date of the combined synopsis/solicitation to 18 April 2025;



2. Answer industry questions;



3. Update the associated drawings (please be sure to request the updated drawings and reference your previously provided and completed DD2345 or to provide it at time of request)



Questions and answers:




  1. Note the sourcing issues for Timet 5111 Titanium ASTM B265, Grade #32. Have the material requirements changed to a more readily available Titanium? And similarly: Are there also updated drawings that have eliminated the sole source requirements?

    1. Yes, 06829026 has been modified to include additional material options for fabrication.

    2. Yes, the modification of 06829026 calls out a material that can be sourced from multiple potential vendors.



  2. On the CLIN table, Dwg No. 06789022 is identified. This drawing was not provided in the initial TDP package. Can you please provide this Drawing?

    1. Yes, this drawing has been provided and added to relevant documentation.



  3. Since models will be provided to the successful awardee, what is the expected time frame this information will be provided?

    1. Models will be provided immediately after award.

AMENDMENT 7: The purpose of this amendment is to reopen and extend the solicitation from 22 April 2025 to 25 April 2025, 17:00 EST.
