Background:
The Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS) is a U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) installation, operated by Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS or Contractor), comprising approximately 3,561 square kilometers (1,375 square miles) of federally owned land located in southeastern Nye County, Nevada. Located approximately 105 kilometers (65 miles) northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada, the NNSS is accessed from U.S. Highway 95, which roughly forms the southern boundary of the site.
Objective:
MSTS requires the services of an experienced Subcontractor to provide laundry services for government owned linens for housing.
Description of Work:
The Subcontractor shall provide technically qualified resources that work as a part of a team under the direct oversight of MSTS. Subcontractor resources shall be responsible for independently planning, organizing, and performing a wide variety of non-hazardous specialized administrative/technical duties in support of the successful completion of goals and deliverables. Additionally, the Subcontractor shall furnish all necessary labor, technical and professional services, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and payment of any applicable taxes to perform all operations necessary and required to perform the scope as directed by MSTS.
Unless otherwise approved, the Subcontractor shall work in accordance with MSTS subcontract requirements.
Specifically, MSTS requires a Subcontractor to provide:
Confirmation with Contractor of the quantity of linen provided at the time of delivery.
Notice of all discrepancies concerning linen sums, cleanliness, and serviceability at the time of delivery.
Contractor will deliver all linen that require service and will pick up all linen that has been serviced, once each calendar week, on Wednesdays. Should the service day fall on a holiday, pick-up and delivery shall occur on the next business day. Subcontractor is not required to deliver or pick up any linen.
Linen picked up for laundering shall be returned on Wednesday of the following calendar week.
Deliveries shall be accompanied by an electronic invoice listing the quantity of linen provided by subcontract line item.
Contractor reserves the right to change the date and time of deliveries cited in this document, subsequent to providing a ten-calendar day notice to the Subcontractor.
Delivered linens shall adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitary practices within the industry. All work performed shall be done under sanitary conditions. The linen shall be clean, free of soil, bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms, including pathogens or disease producing organisms.
When preparing items for pick up Subcontractor shall ensure items are placed in bags/ carts and that the bags/ carts are identified with a copy of the laundry slip.
All Contractor owned items which are stained after laundering or damaged shall be segregated and returned separately.
Responses to this notice should include the following:
1.) Company name and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) to confirm company is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, in accordance with FAR 4.1102(a).
2.) Company’s business size for the NAICS code listed above, including Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone); Small Business; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB); and/or Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
3.) Capability statement and/or product brochure and/or any applicable past performance information that demonstrates that the supplies, equipment, or services can be provided by your company.
