INVITATION TO BID – INDIANA UNIVERSITY of PENNSYLVANIA
UP-1227: 2025 Steam Line Replacement Indiana University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this Project consists of materials for and installation of new medium pressure steam (MPS) and condensate pumped discharge (CPD) pipelines. The new lines replace existing buried MPS and CPD lines from ST35 to the Boiler House. The new pipe is routing via a buried trench system, new and existing, and overhead piping through the Co-Gen and Boiler House buildings. Work shall be accomplished by a Single Prime Contractor according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the Mechanical Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University. A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on February 25, 2025, at 1 PM in the Engineering & Construction Office Robertshaw Building Room 1, 650 South 13th Street, on the campus of Indiana University of PA. located in Indiana, PA 15705. The Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory but highly recommended. Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on March 13, 2025, through PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint located at http://seller.ariba.com. The Bid package is available at http://seller.ariba.com. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register at PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint http://seller.ariba.com. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online.
