Description

The purpose of this Request for Solutions (RFS) is to solicit fixed price prototype whitepapers for potential capabilities that could be developed and manufactured at the Quad City Cartridge Case Facility (QCCCF) for Department of Defense (DoD) or commercial use that could benefit the facility with additional workload and revenue.





In conjunction with this effort, the contractor must be able to maintain the critical defense industrial base capability that is capable of producing the steel and brass cases for direct and indirect fire at a minimum rate of 3,000 units per month, which could include the M148A1B1 105mm Steel Direct Fire Case, M150 105mm Steel Direct Fire Case, M14 105mm Brass Indirect Fire Case, MK109 Navy 5” Steel Case, Navy 57”” Brass Case, Navy 76mm Brass Case, Bofurs 40mm L60 & L70 Brass Cases, other future brass or steel cases requiring deep drawn manufacturing processes per aforementioned manufacturing process.
