City of Patterson – Engineering Services Department

Project: Las Palmas Safety Corridor Project

The City of Patterson is seeking individuals, teams, firms, or a combination thereof interested in providing engineering and design services for the Las Palmas Safety Corridor Project. The Las Palmas Safety Corridor is a corridor near downtown Patterson with immediate need for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. The City has obtained funding for the design of this Project through the California Department of Transportation’s Local CRP grant to upgrade the pedestrian and micromobility improvements in this area- this project uses federal funds and must comply with all applicable requirements. The limits of this proposed Project span ±0.64-miles along the corridor that include a portion of Las Palmas Avenue from 9th Avenue to State Route 33, and 6th street from Las Palmas Avenue to F Street.

Purpose of the Request:

The City invites proposals that include engineering and design services by an appropriately licensed team to work under the direction of City Staff. The selected proposal will

1) exhibit experience in design of public infrastructure and roadway and pedestrian improvements for municipal clients,

2) provide a full range of engineering and design services as they relate to federal and state guidelines (i.e. permits, plans, specifications, and estimates) 3) complete bid package for the entire project,

3) complete bid package for the entire project.
