- Summary:The Shenandoah Valley Soil & Water Conservation District (SVSWCD) is requesting applications for funding for injecting manure on agricultural land located in the counties of Augusta, Page, Rockingham, and Shenandoah. The SVSWCD invites eligible farmers to submit an application to this Request for Proposal (RFP). Funding is available through a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) grant to promote and encourage local farmers and contractors to invest in and adopt manure injection technology. This funding includes two separate categories; one for farmers and one for contractors (for hire manure haulers/applicators). The SVSWCD may move funds between these two categories.
