SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a), which is up to $125,000, for the research project assistance from Dr. Zhang. A sealed bid will not be held. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA the Lobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissible contact for this procurement is the individual listed below. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency.

Vendors responding to this advertisement shall be required to complete and submit applicable documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law Section 139 j&k, and New York State’s Tax Law Section 5-a.

Vendors responding to this advertisement must submit valid and current NYS Workers’ Compensation and Disability Forms.

Requirements:

• Research work must surround the topic of statistical and deep learning models of genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, and phenotypic integration to understand the basis of Alzheimer’s Disease
• Analysis of data must include number of nodes, learning rates, weight functions, number of layers, sparsification, drop out batch size, and filter experimenting to provide biological data sources
• Researcher must participate in manuscript development, including summarizing results and offering discussion elements, manuscript review, and any re-analyses
• Researcher must have bioengineering and machine learning skills
• Researcher must be a Deep Learning Genomics Specialist
