Insertion Valve and Line Stop Services

The City of Bradenton is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide insert valve and line stop services for both potable water and sewer force mains ranging from 2 inches to 12 inches within the City’s utility network. Work includes under-pressure valve insertion, line stop, and all related site work, including excavation, backfill, valve box installation, and concrete collars.

The City of Bradenton maintains water and sewer infrastructure composed of primarily 2-inch to 12-inch ductile iron, cast iron, PVC, and HDPE piping. To reduce system downtime and improve maintenance capabilities, the City is seeking a contractor to perform as-needed under-pressure valve insertion or line stop services. Restoration of disturbed areas after work is complete may be required.
