Description
The City of Albany and Dougherty County (Community) are jointly soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide consultant services for a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant Safety Action Plan (Plan). The Plan will be in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) guidelines and meet their Vision Zero policy including transportation and bicycle/pedestrian planning, and engineering design. The Plan should include the following components:
Safety Analysis
Public Involvement
Identification and analysis of underserved communities
Assessment of current policies, guidelines and standards
Identification and prioritization of projects and strategies
Implementation and evaluation of quick-build pilot studies to inform action plan strategies
Compilation of activities, projects and recommendations into a Plan report
