Project Description: Full lead abatement of the Jose Rizal Bridge including full removal of existing paint on steel members within full containment and full repaint of steel members. For the northern, SDOT-owned portion of the bridge, the superstructure, piers, strain poles, and railings are included in the scope of work. For the southern, WSDOT-owned portion of the bridge, only the strain poles and railings are included in the scope of work.
Engineer's Estimate: 11,700,000 to 12,000,000
Project Location: Beacon Hill / Chinatown-International District. 12 th Ave S between S Lane St and S Charles St, spanning over S Dearborn St, I-90, Mountains-to-Sound Greenway Trail, and Sound Transit’s East Link.
